Sound

In Chicago in the Spring of 1996 something truly miraculous occurred. The trio of Emily Gomez, Ernesto Gomez, and J Virus came together to develop a sound based on live improvisation and deep listening.

The results for the past 28 years have been sublime, startling, and hypnotic. This is sound as sculpture. This is sculpture as sound.

The legends of 1994-1995 are true!

The band Third Uncle rose and took flight for 18 months recording 2 studio albums and capturing 1 epic live performance.

In show after show the group evolved into a hefty powerhouse of Art Rock majesty. With electric Viola, Hammond Organ, and Fluxus drums the group created original material for the ages. There were also some wild covers of Interstellar Overdrive and a Sister Ray/Jon Spencer Blues Explosion hybrid fantasy.

Come. Dig this now.
